Sponsorship & Immigration

Why sponsorship matters

The grey area is closing

Working on a tourist visa, once a grey area for influencers and digital nomads, now faces stricter enforcement. Immigration actively monitors activity that breaks visa terms.

We keep track of every regulatory change, so your application follows the latest government directives.

Questions

Sponsorship FAQ

Answers on income, timing and tourist visas.

Read the full FAQ
Is there a minimum income for a Bali work visa?

For the proposed digital nomad visa, about USD 60,000 a year has been discussed but not finalised. For an employer-sponsored KITAS, pay follows the sponsor, the role and Indonesian labour law.

How long does a work KITAS take?

Typically 1 to 3 months from submission of complete documents, including approvals, biometrics and issuance. Apply well before your intended start date.

Can I work in Bali on a tourist visa?

No. Paid or unpaid work — including brand collaborations — on a tourist visa breaks immigration law and can lead to fines, deportation and a re-entry ban.
